Une fois pour attraper un objet et le ranger dans votre sac à dos. Pour le récupérer, c'est presque aussi simple. Un clic sur votre sac, un clic sur l'objet, puis un clic sur l'endroit où vous voulez utiliser l'objet. Et hop ! Vous avez coupé une corde avec le bistouri. Rien de compliqué donc dans Le Voleur d'esprits. Mais une atmosphère effrayante et des énigmes passionnantes. Au fur et à mesure de votre progression, vous collectez les morceaux d'une carte maritime déchirée. Reconstituez-la minutieusement : c'est elle qui vous aidera à trouver le chemin du retour.

All in all, Voodoo Kid is of a quality seldom seen in titles designed for kids. I would certainly recommend it to adult players as well; it's a nice little diversion for when you get tired of brain-busting puzzles and endless walkthrough consultation.

Najnowsza produkcja Infogrames (seria Alone in the Dark, lovecraftówki Shadow of the Comet i Prisoner of Ice) to świetna gra. Mimo że jest przeznaczony głównie dla młodszych graczy, Voodoo Kid urzeknie także i starszych użytkowników gier. To doskonały relaks i odpoczynek od poważniejszych tytułów - wszak nawet stres wywołany grami trzeba jakoś odreagować!

"Voodoo Kid" is a creepy adventure game for the target group between 8 and 15 years from the year 1997 by French developer Infogrames. The splendourful designed original gamebox contains not only the CD and a mirrorfinish manual in color with many screenshots and game graphics, but also a super gameposter, an excitingly written log and a just as informative as graphical substantial voodoo encyclopedia in folding format. Unpacking already makes fun! I find this particularly worth mentioning in a time, in which such additions can only seldom be found and the box design is often poor.

All in all this game is not too difficult to solve, and this is not a criticism given the target age group. This relative simplicity allows the player to make steady progress without becoming hopelessly stuck too many times. At the same time there are plenty of obstacles to overcome and the game is captivating enough to make you want to keep playing. I think Infogrames are to be congratulated on producing a fun adventure game that is likely to appeal to a pre-teen/early teen market and one that introduces younger players to the undoubted joys of computer adventure games. It's one that all the family can happily join in and play.

Auch wenn ich heutzutage als blutrünstiger Quake-Veteran verschrien bin, möchte ich ernsthafte Zweifel an der USK-Freigabe für Voodoo Kid anbringen. Kindern ab sechs Jahren kann man dieses Spiel meiner Meinung nach nicht empfehlen. Die leichten Rätsel bringen die lieben Kleinen vielleicht noch nicht zum Schwitzen, die finsere Gruselatmospähre aber bestimmt zum Bibbern.
