Wing Commander IV is something to be awed by. It’s truly an interactive movie of a caliber unbefore seen by computer gaming. While other gaming companies scurry to follow in Origin’s path, none even approach the quality, complexity, or feel of Wing Commander IV. Origin built entire sets for this game, unlike in WCIII where computer graphics were used instead. The result is a much more realistic and well built movie. Wing Commander IV may have hefty system requirements but trust me, Origin has gone out of their way to make this one a necessary upgrade.
The space combat is everything Wing Commander fans have come to expect, and there are plenty of options for novices including the ability to make yourself invincible if the battle gets too tough. The varied missions add to the suspense of the story, seamlessly blending the two distinct areas of the game. Wing Commander IV is a great chapter in this excellent series, and will prove an enthralling experience for long-time fans and newcomers alike.
