Boring, repetitive, unnecessary game
The Good
I am getting nostalgic when I play Winzer Deluxe. I played the old one on my C64 for many hours.
The Bad
The game mechanics that worked 1991 on the C64 don't work 1997 in windows anymore. The game is highly repetitive, you are forced to do many stupid work.
The visualization consists of a standard Windows window with a picture for the current menu, text directly printed over the picture and some buttons placed over all. The usability is horrible. It looks more like a game made by a Visual Basic student after his third lesson.
The Bottom Line
Starbyte ported the old Winzer game to Windows, the game play remained unchanged. If you liked Winzer you will perhaps like Winzer Deluxe. But if you played Winzer, there's no need to play Winzer deluxe.
