Description

Based on the popular Legendary Siblings novels by the Chinese author Gu Long, Xin Juedai Shuangjiao: Qianzhuan is a prequel to the three previously released Twin Heroes games. The events of this game take place 18 years before the brothers Jiang Xiaoyu and Hua Wuque were born. The hero of the game is their father Jiang Feng. The game describes Jiang Feng's life, his training as a swordsman, his friendship with the fighter Yan Nantian, and eventually the love story between him and the servant girl Hua Yuenu.

The gameplay system has been influenced by Xianjian Qixia Zhuan 3. Unlike previous installments of the series, all regular enemies are visible on screen and can be avoided. You have a party of eight people, of which you can choose four to participate in battles. The turn order and the speed of the battle participants are displayed on correspondent indicators. Beside the traditional leveling up, you can also upgrade your weapons by collecting a certain amount of crystals. There are special attacks you can execute with a particular weapon.
