Description

Yu-Gi-Oh! comes to the PC in Power of Chaos. The game is set up as a card battling game without any extra genres added in such as RPG elements or adventure elements that are part of other Yu-Gi-Oh! games.

You have one person to battle in this game - Yugi. You start the game with a deck of 40 cards and no extras and must win battles against Yugi in order to get new cards to improve your deck.

The game includes a Tutorial mode where Yugi explains how to play the game in a very easy-to-understand way. The Tutorial highlights each part and explains step-by-step how to do the different parts of the game. There are some things left out of the tutorial that could make it hard for new players who do not know anything about the game already.

The game's battles are set up as either a single battle, or a match battle. The match battles take much longer as you have to win (or lose) more than once before you end the match. In the single battle, you either win or lose once and then you can play another battle if you want. With the match battle, however, you can use a side deck to trade cards in and out of your deck (if you have some) in order to improve your deck based on what you see your opponent has for cards.

Trivia

A demo version of this game was packed with issue 9 of Viz's Shonen Jump manga magazine. In fact, that was the ONLY place you could actually get the demo!

No differences really exist from the two versions, except that (obviously) the full version has extra goods.
