Zax talks to his ship, Zelon, after crashing at an unknown planet.

Strange robots come to attack Zax.

Checking the log entries to see what are the mission objectives. Here he must collect ore and fruits.

Inside a cave.

The game allows zooming out...

... and zooming in.

Zax inside his ship, Zelon.

With the ore collected, Zax can use his ship's generating machine to create items such as weapons, shields and batteries.

Mission complete.

These are teleportation portals.

Zax shoots some enemies.

The orange orb restores Zax's shield energy, the blue orb restores his weapon energy.

The minimap shows Zax location. It displays only the area already explored.
