Trivia
This Zork game came with a multi player function. However, it was poorly implemented and not very useful. It would let gamers chat and share notes.

At the time of Zork: Grand Inquisitor's release, Activision was actually negotiating with studios for the possibility of a TV series set in the Zork universe. The game, while successful, didn't sell up to projections, and the TV show discussions (thankfully) were abandoned.
As part of the the release of Zork Grand Inquisitor, Activision released Zork II and Zork III (and re-released Zork I) as freeware. They also released a new all-text Zork
adventure called "Zork: The Undiscovered Underground" by Marc Blank and Mike Berlyn. Z:TUU is still available for download at http://activision.com/games/zgi/atrium/gameroom/copy2.html
(Although links to download the other Zork games do exist at activision.com, they are dead; but the games are available at numerous fan sites.)
There is a music soundrack released in 1998 composed by John Beal. Soundtrack can be bought at http://www.synsoniq.com.
