Description

This is version 10 of the long-running X-Plane series and it comes with over 30 aircraft, ranging from small civilian craft through commercial airliners, jet fighters, large military and rescue planes, a glider and even helicopters. An aircraft editor is also included, which can be used to design more aircraft or customize the included aircraft. Like the Microsoft Flight Simulator series, X-Plane is open-ended and expandable. A wide range of add-on aircraft and scenery, both freeware and payware, is available.

This edition specifically covers the region of North America. It includes only scenery for the continental United States. A scenery editor is not included, but one can be downloaded free of charge from the company's website. This is one of the four regional editions next to X-Plane 10: Regional Edition - Europe, X-Plane 10: Regional Edition - South America and X-Plane 10: Regional Edition - Australia. All four versions can be upgraded to X-Plane 10: Global Edition, which includes scenery for the entire world.
