Description
After fighting against mankind's arch-enemy, the Xenon, in
X: Beyond the Frontier the space between the jump gates of an ancient civilization has developed a time of relatively stable peace.
But there is not much time to recover... a new threat arises at the outer regions of the Argonian territory.
X² continues the successful way of free-form gameplay:
The player may choose how to play - fighting pirates or becoming one, trading goods between space-stations or building your own. Basically, the game is a mixture of classic space- and trading-simulation.
The Collector's Edition is a later release of the original box, besides the latest update, an editor and a modder-kit it includes:
- Additional DVD with background-videos (Making of, Artwork ..)
- Novel "Nopileos", the sequel to "Farnham's Legend"
- Booklet with tips & tricks by the staff of PC Games magazine
- Double sided poster with sector map and list of ships
