Summary
Overall, a solid action game.
The Good
The graphics are terrific, and the action is fast, yet strategic enough so that it's not plain button mashing. Multiplayer is fun, and the campaign -- after level 7 -- is pretty good. Frame rate is always fast, even in four player mode, which is a huge plus.
The Bad
Unbalanced difficulty -- some missions are impossible, even on the easiest setting, while others are quite easy on any setting. The first seven missions are pretty dull, too, which can be pretty deceiving since they get better quickly after mission 7.
The Bottom Line
Definitely check it out -- it's a very good action game. I don't think it's Twisted Metal on water, but that's because it's a different game. If you're not good at these things in general, though, make sure you have friends to play the game with, because the campaign can be merciless.
