Was haben amerikanische Zuhälter, Rapstars und ein Großteil der Golf-Fahrer miteinander gemeinsam? Richtig! Den Drang ihren Wagen umzubauen um aufzufallen und aus der breiten Masse herauszustechen! Doch während manche glauben ihren Wagen getunt zu haben wenn sie ihn tiefer legen und einen fetten Remus-Auspuff draufhauen, gehen die Leute aus der "echten" Tuner-Szene da schon etwas tiefer. Genau das kann der geneigte Spieler jetzt auch virtuell in Juiced tun. Wer jetzt allerdings die Augen verdreht und sich denkt: "Boaaah, nicht noch ein NFS:U-Klon!" sollte erst mal ein wenig weiterlesen und sich dann ein Urteil bilden! Denn die Jungs von Juice Games haben sich so einiges einfallen lassen!

Juiced may have been last to market but is by no means in last place. It's no NFS Underground 2 or Midnight Club 3 but it is a worthwhile addition to any racing game fan’s library with its unique features, strong career mode and easy pick up and play engine.

I was really surprised with this race tuning game, "Juiced". While not expecting much and kinda tired of all these tunin' race games lately, Juiced delivered something unique. It adds features like team racing and tactical crew decision to the already vast array of features for each tuning race game. With its own graphical style and physics its one of the Top Tuning race games available for XBox and PC ! The sense of speed during the races will knock you out of your drivers seat ! The popossibilityf making your own race events or championships adds a nice value to the tunin' genre. Bottom line, if you like the more 'mature' tune race games then "Juiced" is definitely a game you should consider playing.

You can't get behind the wheel of Juiced and have a pretty good time, but you can only drive so far before you stop wanting to continue driving around in circles.

We have to thank THQ from pulling this franchise from the doomed Acclaim brand because Juiced is a good, fun racing game that has some canny ideas. Although you might be exhausted from Midnight Club 3 and Need for Speed Underground 2 you should still take a moment to check out Juiced.

Juiced is an exponentially better game that it was when I reviewed it many months ago. Does that mean that it's a super awesome, edge of your seat thrill ride? Not so much, but it does have its charms and is a nicely varied street racer. The sensation of speed is here in spades and the Respect and Crew systems have been overhauled to become features that mean something, are easy to understand and are part of the game's liberally applied awards.

Même s'il ne s'agit assurément pas du jeu de l'année, Juiced s'en sort relativement bien. Complet et long, le titre de Juice Games apporte sa pierre à l'édifice des jeux de courses automobiles à l'ambiance tuning en proposant un contenu différent comme la gestion des paris, du stress ou encore d'une bande. Certes, tous ses ajouts n'ont rien de très innovants étant donné qu'ils sont déjà présents dans d'autres titres, mais les rassembler confère à Juiced un petit air frais qui manque à de nombreuses autres productions du genre. Avec une I.A. plus soignée, des circuits moins répétitifs et des épreuves plus intéressantes, Juiced aurait pu créer une véritable surprise. Il n'en reste pas moins une bonne alternative à Need For Speed Underground.

Peut-être qu'il est arrivé trop tard, peut-être qu'on l'attendait trop. Voici le cruel destin de Juiced, survenant dans des conditions loin d'être optimales, dans une période plus que creuse de l'activité vidéoludique. Il est vraiment dommage pour Juice Games d'avoir bénéficié d'autant de malchance. Leur titre apparaît donc comme une alternative possible à un titre peu convaincant comme SRS, mais ne soutient pas la comparaison avec NFSU 2. Original et offrant de multiples possibilités, le soft de THQ s'en sort finalement sous le couvert d'une honnêteté affichée, mais reste loin des sommets. C'est Jacky qui ne va pas être content.

Like I initially stated, Juiced plays like a dream when you first take it for a spin. You’ll navigate the menus and career mode calendar and wonder why all games don’t do things like this. You’ll race a few races and feel like the game plays nice and tight. You’ll start slowly upgrading your car and believe that the possibilities are endless. You’ll call your grandmother to tell her how good this game is and then you’ll call your mom and ask her set another place-mat for diner cuz daddy’s got a brand new bag! But the next day, when you pop this one in again after you’ve had time to fantasize about it, you’ll realize just how shallow and disappointing it is. And yes, you’ll wonder what new bread of creature spawned this thing and how you can send it back to its maker pronto? At the very least, give it a rent to see what it’s all about.

Depending on what I am doing, I yearn for any of the more-polished (and more playable) racing titles that it tries to emulate. Juiced's particular mix of sim and arcade racing is best summed up as a failed experiment.
