Summary

Apparently competent, and kills GT3

The Good

The graphics aren't the greatest I've ever seen, but it's up there. Everything has been textured nicely, the cars accurately represent their lovely real life counterparts.

The sense of speed, particularly on the big guns, is incredible, the sense of speed is 2nd to PS2's Hot Pursuit 2. I bought a Ferrari Enzo in this game, and from the minute i moved the steering thumb-stick, "Oh my God! Holy crap... whoa!" It's so fun to blast around just for the hell of it, without worrying about competition in time trial.

It's pretty frigging challenging. You've got 5 difficulty settings, from Novice to Expert. I usually race on difficulty 3 and can usually win with a standard car. I've gotten 1 platinum and 2 golds so far (Medals, from Steel to Bronze to Silver to Gold to Platinum) and a bronze :-{ Ah, well. I've gotten to the roadster class, about the 5th out of 14.

GT3 pales in comparison to this game. In GT3, you have repetitive, boring, and extremely difficult races in an endless cycle of buying, racing, upgrading, racing, blah blah blah...

The Bad

Tad too challenging so far.

The Bottom Line

YES, all Xbox owners, get this game!!! Especially now the price has dropped from $50 to $30.
