Game Chronicles
TimeSplitters has always been a huge hit with multiplayer fans and has never been known for their single-player game. Free Radical has gone the extra mile to enhance both the single and the multiplayer experience. Obviously, just by making this game playable online they have revitalized the franchise, but they have added so much more. And while the single-player campaign is still lacking, especially when compared to anything else out there, it is still a huge evolution from anything they have done in the past.

In summary, if you enjoy the finer things in life such as setting people on fire with flares or putting a nice, sturdy harpoon right through a zombie's rotting noggin, if you prefer your shooters with a dollop of the absurd, and if you get all tingly in embarrasing places over ludicrous amounts of unlockables, you'll definitely dig TimeSplitters: Future Perfect.

Game Freaks 365
When it comes down to it, TimeSplitters: Future Perfect stands well against nearly all other shooters available today on Xbox, and most definitely on GCN and PS2. The multi-player experience alone makes the game worth it, but the added features, such as the League, add to what amounts to a very long couple weeks of gameplay, possibly months. If you have an affixation with first-person shooters, Free Radical delivered a product worth buying.

The Next Level
When it comes down to it, TimeSplitters: Future Perfect is brimming with personality, and that alone puts it above most of its peers. Although not so impressive by itself, the single player modes are complimented by a slew of unlockables and challenges, but still, TimeSplitters seems to have been made with the multiplayer gaming in mind. It's fun, nerve racking, and funny and it very may well take its place besides GoldenEye as the pinnacle of mindless multiplayer fun.

Game industry News (GiN)
The bottomline is Time Splitters: Future Perfect is a game you simply should have in your gaming library if you're seriously into FPS games period. No question this is a game that can stand toe-to-toe with all the big time first-person shooters out there. Spectacular graphics, superlative gameplay, solid audio, great voice-overs, and a compelling story plot rocket this new hit into gaming greatness. A full 4 + Gin gems goes out to a highly impressive game that will undoubtedly turn quite a few heads as well as the "hands of time"

Still, TimeSplitters: Future Perfect is a remarkable package overall. It’s rich with humor, charm, and personality, and it’s got one of the most substantial replay values in a console title to date.

GameSpot
All in all, TimeSplitters: Future Perfect makes for good, meaningless fun. However, many of its modes don't feel complete. As consoles get more and more competent at handling the first-person shooter genre, TimeSplitters feels more and more like a relic from a bygone era. Although, a lot of credit is still due to the variety you'll find in Future Perfect, and fans of the series' mapmaker functionality will certainly enjoy diving right back into this feature and trading new maps online. So the formula might feel slightly dated when compared to the Xbox's best first-person shooters, but with significantly less competition for your online first-person shooter dollar on the PlayStation 2 side, TimeSplitters: Future Perfect will probably shine slightly brighter there.

Defunct Games
The makers of this game, Free Radical, are made up of programmers that once worked on games like GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark, two games that are considered classics by many of today's gamers. The problem is that first person shooters have evolved considerably since the days of those Nintendo 64 titles; we live in a much different time where expectations are a lot higher. Had Future Perfect been released this two or three years ago it would have been considered a masterpiece, but in 2005 TimeSplitters just feels out of touch. Thankfully it has enough going for it to recommend it, but I'm hoping that future sequels will be more of a leap forward.

Moi j'y retourne.
