Cabela's Trophy Bucks

If you have all the money in the world and are starved for a few hundred easy gamerpoints (you’ll need to invest some time for the rest), then feel free to pick up Cabela’s Trophy Bucks. The game has a bit of fun underneath its technically defunct outer shell, but only diehards of the hunting genre will want to take the time to find it, and even then, it will likely be too arcade-like for their diehard playing habits. Trophy Bucks isn’t an atrocity, but it’s not exactly a showcase for what a hunting game can bring to the table.

This is a game you should get free when you buy a bright orange hunting hat. It might offer a brief, quick killin' fix for some hunter-gamers, but won't offer much in terms of videogaming satisfaction, delicious meat or hours of fresh air.

Though the real world environments aren't ugly, this Cabela's ptarmigans and all, is simply pterrible.

Play it for points and then never look at it again, a terrible game in its own right but as a hunting simulation it’s a joke. The animals on offer are hardly game that people would willingly pursue outside of a video game and the stupidly over-powered weapons or power-ups take away any slight challenge that might have been had.
