Ilomilo ist ein wunderbares Spiel geworden. Die Geschichte um die beiden Freunde ist herzergreifend und bekommt durch gefundene Bildfragmente immer neue Facetten spendiert. Die Rätsel sind einfach genial konzipiert und bringen euer Denkzentrum mitunter regelrecht zum Schmelzen. Der Umfang kann sich mit einem tollen Mehrspielerpart und mehreren unterschiedlichen Welten, sowie einiger Bonusabschnitte, mehr als sehen lassen, und lädt immer wieder zu einer vergnüglichen Runde Denksport ein. Für alle Rätselfreunde ist das Spiel ein absoluter Pflichtkauf und selbst für Denkallergiker ist die Demo jederzeit einen Blick wert.

The universe Southend Interactive has stitched and weaved together is so cute and playable it’d be a crime to miss it. A simple yet brilliant concept delivered with real passion. This is what kids’ TV should be like. Not some twunt with a rubbish haircut waltzing around in front of the camera after doing a few… – let’s stop before the RANT begins. ilomilo is a complete joy from start to finish; exactly what XBLA needed; and exactly what’s needed after fighting some non-cuddly alien maggots with a size 13 boot.

Ilomilo är lika sött och rogivande som det är klurigt och utmanande. Och det bevisar en gång för alla att de bästa och mest innovativa pusselspelen görs i Sverige.

There is a good amount of game in Ilomilo. Along with the single player campaign there is a cooperative multiplayer mode and an arcade mini game. Each level has some replay value since there are gallery items to collect. You can also attempt to solve each puzzle in as few moves as possible. Despite the excellent production values and whimsical story I did tire of Ilomilo’s puzzles and whimsy…especially during long play sessions. Ilomilo is best played in short spurts of fancy. It’s a good game just not a very memorable one.
