In the cupboard of the Mystic's Hut, there is a note that reads:
Take one Cube of ice... Add two beetles from a Box of Creepy-Crawlies... Heat to 360 degrees... Add Meepo scales to taste.
This note refers to Kameo's long and complicated development time, which went from GameCube, to Xbox, to Xbox 360. In addition, Meepo was initially Kameo's sidekick in the GameCube version of the game.
The song that plays in Creeper's home when you turn on his radio is a remix of the title theme from Banjo-Kazooie.
On 8th November 2005, it was announced that Maxmedia will develop an animated feature based on the game, adapted by Sunmin Park.
The game was originally in development for the Xbox and the GameCube, and was to be released in 2003, but the GameCube version was cancelled and the Xbox version was moved to the console's successor, the Xbox 360.
