Description
NBA Ballers is a sequel to
NBA Ballers: Phenom and a continuation of the long-running
Midway games dating clear back to
NBA Jam. Once again the player must plays a young, up and coming street basketball player, going against the top sixty-five NBA Superstars in 1-on-1, 2-on-2 or 1-on-1-on-1 street basketball.
There are new moves and combos for the game, one of which is "Shut-Em-Down" Super Moves in which the player can perform thirty different moves including stealing the ball and blocking a shot in a slow-motion or even a power jam. To perform these moves you must build up a meter by using a series of combos.
Another is the "Act-a-Fool" combos, where the player can pull multiple combos by embarrassing the other opponent by pulling off Globetrotter-esque moves, such as using an opponent as a step-ladder to a dunk or spinning the ball on there finger just before making a slam dunk.
You can play online and has can download more content online, including new items and clothing to add to your "Create-A-Baller" and features the music of Chuck D and Just Blaze, with thirty different custom tracks for the game including adapting music that follows the momentum of the game.
