Rock of Ages remains fun despite its problems, and makes for some great local competitive play. The campaign gets annoying at times because of the time constraints with defense building, but is quirky and funny enough that it ultimately remains worth the time. If you’re looking for something unlike what you’ve played before, it’s time to let Rock of Ages rock your world.

Calm Down Tom
In all honesty I sucked big time at this game. I felt that the enemy just glided through my defences while i struggled to navigate through theirs. Though it was thoroughly enjoyable I wish I could have progressed further. It wasn’t a ” argh I can’t do this, I suck at this” *bites controller* kind of game. It’s great fun to play, gorgeous to look at and very nicely designed with a quirky mythical and historical theme and funny cinematics. If you find someone equally as bad, or good, as you are then multiplayer would be top notch!

Rock of Ages is a charming game; it’s silly and stylish and something that people would be hard pressed to see and not want to try. On a deeper level, it’s a finely crafted strategy game for those of us with short attention spans and a lust for breaking things. But those looking to pick it up solely for online multiplayer should be warned, it’s not certain how long this rock will keep rolling.

Good Game
I found the single-player campaign a bit of a yawn as well - but after getting in on that multiplayer I was really surprised at how much fun I had, and I found myself wanting to try every single course - and re-think strategies to try and out-smart my opponent. I actually think this game is quite sophisticated. I'm giving it 7.5.
