Game Chronicles
Stuntman: Ignition is a total blast. It has great physics and handling and stunts that are totally insane but also typical of the current Hollywood blockbuster. I'm pretty sure everything you do in this game could be done in real life, if it hasn't been done already. The game is repetitious by design, so if you are looking for a quick day at the races or some instant achievement points you’ll need to keep looking.

Overall Stuntman Ignition is a highly addictive game; I couldn’t fault it on that at all. No matter how many times you mess up and have to restart a scene there is always that thought of ‘just one more time’ in your head that keeps you going back. To progress with new stunts later on in the game is a nice touch but the rest of it can get a bit repetitive, turn left here, power slide here, jump this bridge etc etc but then there is only so much you can do with a game of this type and it is done very well. It will not last you all year round and most likely you will finish it within a week, but there are multiplayer online options on there and small extras that can still keep you going if you find you finish it and haven’t had enough.

Worth Playing
Stuntman: Ignition is a great follow-up to the fun, albeit challenging, game. You'll have to deal with some pretty frustrating moments and some spotty control, but if you bear with it, you'll find a truly enjoyable experience.
Game Positive
Ignition successfully reinvents the series, making the game more accessible while retaining and expanding upon the great ideas in the original. The points system is challenging and enjoyable, and the arcade-like driving physics keep the game light-hearted, even on your umpteenth attempt at stringing a course. The graphics and sound are a step up from most multi-generation titles, and the cohesiveness of the package just gives off the feeling that the developers really cared. Don't let the name steer you away - Stuntman: Ignition is a great arcade driving game, loaded with extra modes and features to keep you busy for a long time.
Gamer 2.0
In the end, this is the same kind of game as the original. It's much more polished and rewarding to play, but it still requires a lot of trial-and-error and quick reflexes. If you were completely turned off by the gameplay in the first game, then you should pass on this one. But if you're willing to give it your all, this game can feel really rewarding. The game is short, so it's hard to recommend it at its sixty-dollar price tag. If you've got the patience, Stuntman: Ignition is a perfect rental title, and a fun Hollywood experience that you won't find anywhere else.
Stuntman: Ignition is a significant step up from its predecessor, and it's a pretty distinct experience as far as driving games go. The fundamental structure of playing through the same stunt sequence repeatedly will no doubt sour some, but if you can get past that, it can be a blast.
To put it simply, Stuntman: Ignition does what it claims to do fantastically well and anyone will undoubtedly have great fun with it at first. The only thing to consider is if you're the type of meticulous gamer who exudes the repeat until perfect approach to things needed to really get the most out of the game. If you are then great, add another ten percent to the score and be happy, unfortunately I'm really not and despite all the initial fun I had there came a point where it started to feel like being a movie stuntman really was more of a job than a game.
Stuntman: Ignition is a leap forward for the series but the game is still a lesson in frustrating trail-and-error gameplay that might not sit well with many gamers. For those who are able to look past the repetitive nature of the game, this Stuntman has a lot to offer and can be fun once the camera starts rolling. I highly recommend renting this one before considering a purchase if you’re a casual fan but either way you shouldn’t miss this game.
Like its predecessor, Stuntman: Ignition is strong in concept and weak in execution. It's a trip to be able to work your way up the ranks, but it's far too repetitious and difficult and it could have been a lot more enjoyable. The online game and various mini-games help things out, though, and make it worthy of a rental. Hopefully, development takes a third stab at the idea and -- like a good stuntman -- finally nails it.
UOL Jogos
The multiplayer options are rubbish, and no-one plays. The single player ranges from easy to improbable and getting five stars takes near impossible levels of patience. To top it off, the game looks average at best; there are some pretty effects, but generally its all a bit sub-par. Extreme difficulty should also not be an excuse for a paltry amount of content. The game is also criminally short, however you look at it, and the new content is horrendously overpriced considering it takes about 30 minutes to complete. Its clearly not just me that 'didn't get' Stuntman (the publisher and developer excuse). With better graphics, audio and more content, this would have been a worthwhile game. As is, whilst not terrible, is very average.

Summing up Stuntman Ignition appears to be an amazing package, and one I can say yes to that being true… but only on the basis of when things go right. The problem here is that you get around twenty percent of things right first time and spend the other eighty wanting to smash your head against a brick wall – because you failed a scene, again, and again, and again. This game could have quite simply been “superb” but the frustration factor from how unforgiving the game is… is, quite frankly crap and as such has left me with no desire what so ever to play this game again.
Thunderbolt Games
If you must complete every game you play, then don’t bother. Still haven't found anyone on Xbox LIVE or on public message boards who has even claimed to have completed the game 100%. The online community has already dwindled down significantly. Ranked matches are few and far between over the last week or so, which gives me an uneasy feeling about the high percentage of 360 games that will be dead entirely due to every shooter released in the last two years featuring LIVE support. The field of edgy online driving games is becoming similiarly over-saturated.
Super Play
