There is a wealth of replay value to be found in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07. From the excellent GameFace create-a-golfer to the tons of modes, it'll keep you busy for quite a while. It's sure to deliver for both fans of the series and first timers.

IGN (Oct 13, 2006)
EA’s hit is stiff and nails it. Although the course list pales in comparison to the Xbox and PS2 versions of the game, you'll never need more to do thanks to an addictive and robust career mode. The courses and golfers all look amazing, while Tiger stands out as picture-perfect thanks to the new UCAP technology. But, most importantly, the gameplay keeps what we love about Tiger and adds True Aiming, which calls for course management and a bit of strategy. Finally, there is a bit of challenge built into the game and you'll have to earn every victory on tour and in the Tiger Challenge. But eventually you'll max out your stats and start plugging hole-in-ones. Hey, this is still a Tiger Woods game.

Tiger 07 plays better than any Tiger before it, it looks beautiful, it sounds great, it comes chock-full of modes...the list goes on and on; EA Redwood did a fantastic job. As a result, the second next-gen golf title is a winner. Though it’s a little tough at first, Tiger 07 has few flaws and it’s one of the better next-gen sports titles. Virtual golfers should definitely check it out.
GameSpot (Oct 20, 2006)
Almost universally, the changes and additions made since last year serve to make Tiger Woods 07 a better game than Tiger Woods 06. However, with many of the big problems out of the way, a few still remain, and other, smaller issues have become apparent. Twelve courses is still on the low side of what one would expect from a Tiger Woods game, a lot of the different modes feel the same, and with many of the graphics being outstanding, the ones that aren't so great are more noticeable. That said, Tiger 07 is a great game, and the improvement in the last 11 months shows that that EA isn't content to maintain the status quo. If you're searching for a great round of video game golf, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 is what you're looking for.
Totally Gaming Network (Nov 13, 2006)
Overall I would have to say that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 is a very good game and certainly a title I would recommend to golf fans. Graphically, the game looks great (aside from the exceptions mentioned earlier) and the controls are fantastic. There are an exceptional amount of gameplay options to keep the title fresh and online play is great.
TTGamer (Jan 09, 2007)
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 is the best golf game on the Xbox 360 but that's not hard considering it’s one of the only golf titles. If you rushed out and picked up 06 for the new console on release, there isn't enough here to make you upgrade unless you need some help on the course or just have to have the latest graphic features and online play as the 2006 edition will be retired from online play sometime in the future. The best golf game around, but still not a must have on 360.

But then I expect EA will give us the odd duff game to kick around the Internet later this year (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, anyone?), so we might as well be nice to the ones it does relatively well. And this is certainly one of those. Over the years, mistakes in Tiger Woods games have come into sharper focus with each uninspired retread, but this one claws back a few strokes with just a few tweaks and a more accommodating approach. Woods games have often done volume, but this one does fidelity - and while the next-gen golfing genre isn't exactly broad, we suspect being the best in a field of one will do them fine, especially since, in this case, it feels like it is mostly as good as it could be.
Gamernode (Oct 24, 2006)
Once again, we've been treated to - at its core - an updated version of last year's game with a few minor tweaks to try and spruce things up. ESPN integration is sparse, the game itself plays much like last year (even with True Aiming once your golfer is good), and the complicated menu system and buggy online game yield more frustration than fun. Still, this is a solid golf title that enthusiasts will be sure to enjoy. But just be sure that the new features are enough to warrant the higher price tag over 06.

Make no mistake, Tiger Woods 07 is a fine golf game, but most consumers won’t help but feel cheated by the fact that they paid 20 dollars more for a game with graphical glitches and missing features. If you’ve never played a Tiger game before, but are intrigued by the idea of hitting a ball hundreds of feet away without having to wear plaid, then by all means, give 07 a look, but for vets of the golf scene will want to make sure they have friends available before venturing onto the green.
Video Game Talk (Nov 14, 2006)
If you're the type of player who enjoys a golf game and hasn't picked one up in the last year or so, I do recommend this title thanks to the great play modes both online and off. The customization levels of each golfer are remarkably high; in one match I played online I was against a hippy guy with a long beard, sandals and a tie dye fashioned ball, and a clean cut yuppie wearing knickers and an argyle sweater vest; the limits are your imagination. For players new to the game though this game is best suited as a rental because quite honestly the process of working through the career mode and training mini-games can become very tiresome dreadfully quickly.
