Sega’s genre-defining beat ‘em up hits the next generation.
For fighting fans, Virtua Fighter has been an institution ever since it first hit the arcade
scene in the 1990s - and now it's back on PLAYSTATION 3. Virtua Fighter 5 raises the
beat ‘em up bar with incredible next generation visuals and a fighting system that's deep

Two new characters join the line-up, adding new fighting styles to the game. El Blaze is a
Mexican wrestling champion, while Eileen is a Chinese expert in Monkey Kung Fu. As with
previous Virtua Fighter games, each character offers enough attack combinations and
depth to make true mastery a rewarding, ongoing process - just like real martial arts, only
not as painful. A new ‘Offensive Move' technique adds even more strategy to encounters
by allowing you to move around your opponent to dodge blows and launch new strikes.
