You Have to Fertilize the Egg

Description

Following antecedents such as Coil and a mini-game from Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude, the player in this game controls the movements of a dapper spermatazoa, keen on shortening the vas deferens between men and women and hoping to "make a princess" (as he sings, jauntily) as soon as he reaches the egg.

Of course, as it is extraordinary to encounter them singly, there is a peloton of other sperm to contend with, all with similar hopes. The player must outrace them, whipping their little flagellum to the best of their ability. What this translates to in terms of gameplay is steering around the changing contours of the geography the player traverses, while pressing up and giving a turbo boost of speed on the straightways.
