Description
Zak McKracken: Between Time and Space is an unofficial sequel of the adventure-classic
Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders which was released in 1988.
The story again resolves around Zak trying to prevent the Caponians to enslave mankind. It starts with Zak waking up in his apartment without any recollection of what has happened before. A race against time begins to find out what has happened before ...
It features over 50 hand-drawn locations, accompanied with atmospheric music. The ludicrous story is fully dubbed and progressed with professional cut-scenes. The gameplay is "oldschool" up to the point, that the old verb based interface has been used for interaction. Bundled with the download is an impressive PDF-Manual.
The game was completed after 6 years of development time and is released as a freeware title.
