Zeal is a hidden object game about a fashion magazine. Instead of the usual locations, the game takes place inside the magazine pages, with mini-games related to editing tasks. Each page has several objects and a list at the bottom of the ones that must be removed. A hint button shows the position of one of the objects, but takes about a minute to recharge after being used.

In the mini-games between chapters the player has to accomplish editing jobs, reviewing photographs and magazine pages. In one of the games, the player has to drag and drop objects related to their photographs (for example, a small ball to a roulette). In others the screen shows several photographs, and the cursor becomes a magnifier that have be used to search for the correct model face. In the paint mix game, the goal is to combine colored paint in a bowl in the right order, following the clues displayed on the cell phone. In the scanner game, the player has to pay attention to the several objects moving from the left to the right, clicking on the ones that change after being scanned.
