ACE (Advanced Computer Entertainment)
The landscape rushes beneath you very impressively indeed, the ground target are well-drawn and the 128K sound is pot on. A great all-rounder then, and a good move for DI.

[Retest] This stealth fighter-bomber game was a bold move for DI, a firm better known for strict-ish simulations. They traded realism for gameplay and produced some of the best tactical action we saw all year, embedded in a very playable arcade-style game. Advanced Tactical Fighter with the stores of your choice and fly out over wire-frame landscapes to help your forces win the war.

Your Sinclair
An interesting hybrid of blast 'em up strategy game masquerading as a flight simulation, with fine and fast graphics. A year of design and programming has gone into ATF, and it shows. If not quite as revolutionary as previous DI efforts, it's still a worthy release.

ASM (Aktueller Software Markt)

It's just that we've come to expect more from the company who created Tomahawk and TT Racer. ATF is basically a shoot-'em-up with some clever frills - not one of out and out flight-simulations that have made DI's name.
