If you enjoyed the film there's little doubt that you will equally enjoy the Adventure! If you missed the film, the next best thing is to play the game!
Le dialogue en anglais s'effectue de manière classique. Le vocabulaire est assez étendu et comprend de nombreux synonymes pour vous éviter une recherche fastidieuse du mot exact. Un bon jeu, aux dessins de qualité.
The quality of the graphics and parser are just the sort of thing that will encourage the first-time adventurer to get to grips with the techniques of this type of game, but they have taken a toll on the memory available, so that there are relatively few locations to explore, and the problems will not be too hard for seasoned adventurers to solve. But then, Gremlins wasn't designed for veterans, so we can't criticise it on that score.
As an introductory adventure, Gremlins is excellent - the combination of witty graphics and fairly high level parser make it a perfect starting point.
For the experienced adventurer, it will be too easy - but even so, it should provide quite a few hours of entertainment.
All things considered, Gremlins is a very enjoyable game, with a number of problems for experienced adventurers. The sentence analyser is comprehensive, and the response time very quick. This should mean that novice adventurers will be able to get into the spirit of the game with ease, making it a good introduction.
Whether there is quite enough body to the adventure for the experienced adventurer I have yet to find out, but I think it's safe to say that Gremlins is every bit as good, an Introductory adventure, as The Hulk, and very possibly better. Certainly the graphics are far superior — there's a great deal of satisfaction in watching a Gremlin's legs waving about as the rest of the little horror is minced finely.
Should be perfect for the twelve to fifteen age group — plenty of gore (most of it your own!).
Gremlins is an enjoyable adventure, although the early puzzles suggest that it would not keep an experienced adventure player stumped for long.
The sentence parser is very sophisticated and will accept full sentences, and this helps to make the game more playable for those who are new to adventuring, but I am not sure how challenging it will prove for more experienced adventurers as many of the puzzles are fairly straight forward (especially if you've seen the film).
Still, it's nice to see that Adventure International is bringing a new audience
That combination makes for a classy and tense game, well made and full of action. Despite being repeatedly killed by Stripe's hooligans I enjoyed Gremlins a lot. My only criticism is that £9.95 is a high price to pay.
