This is the first room. Jack is the pale yellow thing in the lower left. The monsters stick to fixed patrol patterns so getting past them is a matter of careful timing

Jack's over on the right. He's just been caught by a pink wheel-like thing. The game makes an awful sound when this happens.

When a life is lost the player is reminded how many remain

Here Jack has picked up his first item, the key that was beside the sofa. There's no inventory to show that its been collected though

When all lives are lost the player is given a cheerful message like this. Then they are returned to the menu / controller selection screen
