Eleven Track 'N' Field style events are recreated in this joystick-waggling based game. Five are simple running events of different distances ranging from 100 meters to 1500 meters. Unlike Daley Thompson's Decathlon the longer events don't involve a different technique, or different performance measurements, making the 1500m quite tiring. There are also three throwing events (Javelin, Discus and Hammer), and the High / Long / Triple Jump events. Each event has a pre-defined world record to chase.

Micro Olympics ZX Spectrum Event 3: Hammer
This event is very similar to the discus. The player must follow a sequence at the right speed, then must release the hammer at the end of the characters spin
Micro Olympics ZX Spectrum Event 6: High Jump
After deciding on what key will trigger the jump the player must enter the height to be attempted.
Micro Olympics ZX Spectrum Event 1: Running
At the end of the race the times are posted and another race is offered
Micro Olympics ZX Spectrum Event 2: Discus
First the computer's player warms up. Note the arrow beneath the player, indicating concentration, stays rock steady
