The credit screen is followed by a short animation of a little man running to his ship. He's then sealed in and launched
Game control options. There's no option to redefine action keys
Level 1 is the practice level. If skipped the game goes straight to level 2
Pads boost speed, stars are to be collected

Dead ahead is a pad, these boost speed from 800 mph to 900 mph

It's not possible to drive off the road. STUN runner will hug the bend without taking damage but this will reduce speed
