Description

Cassette Four is a collection of eight games and programs that contains:

Guns: A game for one or two players where two gunmen stand on either side of the screen and attempt to shoot each other once to kill them. Each player has six bullets and when the bullets run out then the player must wait a short time before their gun reloads. A carriage moves up and down the screen which deflects bullets back to the player who shot and kills them if hit. There are three skill levels (1-3) and the speed of the bullets can be chosen (1-6)

ZX-Scramble: A player controls a ship through a tunnel viewed from the side and the screen scrolls constantly from left to right. The player has to bomb enemy installations while avoiding or shooting missiles and bombs. If the player hits a bomb, missile or crashes into the tunnel walls then they lose on of ten lives.

Snakebite: The player controls a cursor and must attempt to remove the tail of a moving snake by hitting it's tail. Each time the tail is removed then it disappears and the end of the snake becomes the tail. The player has to avoid hitting the head of the snake.

Fungaloids: The player controls a craft at the top of the screen in multiple directions attempting to bomb fungaloids to stop them growing into the sky on the surface. Some fungaloids will fire a spore into the air and this must be avoided and cannot be bombed. On the surface are entrances to bases and these cannot be bombed either. The craft has a certain amount of fuel and bombs but more can be collected in the stores on the sides of the screen.

Invaders: Based on the game Space Invaders, the player controls a craft on the bottom of the screen moving left and right to destroy aliens in formation above. There are bases above the player as well but will slowly be removed when the player or the aliens hit them with their weapons. The player can also activate a shield for a short period of time. The speed of the game can be chosen (1-100).

Life: A program that allows the player to draw a pattern on the screen with the letter O and then allows the pattern to come to life and grow within a set of rules the computer has.

3D Tic-Tac-Toe: A 3D version of Noughts & Crosses but instead of one 3 x 3 grid the game is played over four 4 x 4 grids to place their o on.

Galaxy Invaders: The player controls a craft on the bottom of the screen moving left or right and must destroy all the aliens moving around the screen. The player has seven lives and the speed of the game can be chosen (1-100)
