Dark Sector, Digital Extremes' unreleased third-person shooter for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, is the first game in 2008 to be rejected in Australia, making it impossible for Australians to buy the game. The only way that the Australian censors can pass the title is if the distributors resubmit the same title in a somewhat censored form so it can be passed MA15+. As it is, lacking an adult rating for games only gives people the false assumption that only children play video games, and that all games that are released are suitable for minors.
