I am extremely pleased to announce that, a hair after our 3rd-year anniversary of going live to the public March 1999, we have approved our 5000th game entry: Archipelagos. Many thanks to all MobyGames contributors past and present for helping us achieve this milestone. I'd also like to personally thank Brian and Dave for not merely believing in the project, but having the patience and drive to stick with it even through difficult financial times and lifestyle changes. (A small confession: In approving entries, I noticed that we were at entry #4999, so I decided to tip the scales myself. I couldn't think of a better game to document than Archipelagos, which was completely unique and way ahead of its time -- just like MobyGames when it was conceived and built.
