User review spotlight: Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar (DOS)

MobyGames News
Sony just announced effective immediately that Playstation and Playstation 2 prices will be drastically cut. The price for a PSOne system will be cut by 50% from $99.00 to $49.00 and PS2 systems will sell for $199.00 down from $299.00. Other Sony accessories are also supposed to receive price drops including Memory Cards and Controllers. You can get all these goodies at the MobyGames Store. The price cuts for PS2 is probably due to an increase in competition in the console market. In addition with 30 million PS2 systems sold worldwide there is probably enough software being sold to compensate for any additional loss in hardware revenue. April 5th Sony announced it is able to manufacture the Emotion Engine and the Graphics Processor on a single 0.13-Micron microchip further reducing the overall cost to produce the PS2 consoles. Regardless of which system you like this can only be good news for gamers. Look out for price cuts coming from Microsoft and Nintendo.
