We disabled the CMG advertising network. They started serving Pop Up ads to our registered users. The state of Internet Advertising is awful if you look at it from a publishers perspective. We are still reasonably small and nearly every ad network we have talked to wants pretty egregious terms and guaranteed pop ups. We have made a commitment to our users that we will not serve pop ups to anyone who has registered and signed in. While we can still afford to MobyGames will drop any advertiser that violates this policy. So if you do not like pop ups feel free to create a Moby account here. It's free.
