So, I wanted to give everyone an update on the outages we had yesterday. As some of you might have noticed, we had about 1 hour of downtime yersterday (30 minutes in the moring and 30 minutes in the night). One of the hard drives on our database machine failed Monday morning. The morning downtime was to get the database back up and running, and the nightime downtime was to install a new drive. Everything is back up and running now -- without any lost data. Kudos to Jim for being on the ball and getting everything back up and running like it should be.

We changed our privacy statement. The change was nothing major, we just added a section stating our ad networks have different policies than we do, we have no control over our ad networks and to read our ad networks privacy statements. In compliance with our privacy statement I have enclosed the additions below. Sorry for the legal mumbo jumbo.

I wrote my first Featured Game in over six months. I think I did a pretty good job. However did you know that you can contribute a Featured Game article. You can highlight one of your favorite classics or a new hit. All we ask is that the game has not been featured before and you write why you feel this game is exceptional. You can do it at our Featured Game Wizard.

For those of you who are interested you can see MobyGames through the strange weird lens of the Way Back Machine here. The people at the Internet Archive have been recording the history of the Internet since 1996. We are in there dating back to 1999. Try looking for Amazon or Yahoo.
