We've rolled out a new release with some exciting new features. More
things are on the way, but we didn't want to make you wait any longer.
The most obvious additions are the polls and the featured
game on the right hand side of the main page. Also, the middle panel has
been rearranged slightly. You can now browse games by title, and the browse
by company, browse by year and browse by genre have been moved to the top.
In the interest of space, the left panel has been slightly rearranged with a
new stat as well.
Registered users will notice that we have implemented Moby Style Sheets,
to provide alternate color schemes. The original
MobyClassic style is still the
default, but registered users can also select from a
darker version
for those who are pastel adverse. Not to be outdone by Brian, Jim says he
will create two new Style shortly. Moby Style Sheets can be selected from
the edit account page.
We put a new release out last week that was mainly consisted of minor
bug fixes and subtle new features. For instance, you may have noticed
that all pages now have proper titles and that the quick search
automatically 'jumps' to the page you want if there is only one match in
the database. We've added a few other minor features such as adding
related web sites to a game from the new game wizard and seeing who
uploaded a box cover from a game's rap sheet.
While the last release was a minor update, there are some big changes in
the pipeline, so stay tuned.
Over the last month the database has grown by 70 new games, 35 new
reviews, 80 new box covers, almost 300 new screenshots and 50 more
registered users!
