Description official descriptions

Stargunner is a 2D (with pre-rendered 3D graphics) side-scrolling shoot'em up game, with many elements similar to Raptor: Call of the Shadows. The action takes place in the far future. The player controls a space ship, flies straightforward to the right and shoots various enemies (including end-level bosses). Between missions, the player can visit the shop to buy new equipment in exchange for collected money. The game has three difficulty settings and four types of missions.

One of the best side-scrollers ever!

The Good
The graphics in this game are good, although pixely. The movies are interesting, and it is exiting when the music changes, so you know there will be a boss soon. The bosses are huge and powerful. Also, the idea of credits and purchasing weapons is fun. I also liked the hidden powerups.

The Bad
As I said before, the graphics are a bit pixely. Also, it is hard. Finally, it scrolls (I'm not saying this is a bad feature, though! I just didn't like it).

The Bottom Line
A side-scrolling shoot'em up in which you fly a ship, collect credits, and destroy bosses in three unique episodes.
