Description official description

As lazy cartoon cat Garfield, you're somehow trapped in your TV, that's what happens with too much TV watching. Go and find all remote-control pieces to get out of that box, and check the fridge for a change. The player advances through levels and bonus rounds in his attempt to escape.

Unlike most other platform games of its time, Garfield boasted completely unique art on each of its six levels, both for tile art and character costumes. The levels are inspired by classic movies, but given a Garfield twist, like "Catsablanca" and "The Curse of Cleofatra".

Garfield the Jackcat

The Good
You are Garfield and inside the TV. The only way to get out is too finish all the levels. And there is a lot of variety between the levels, sp you won't get bored. Every level has his own creatures and weapons. The first one is in the prehistory, later one you come in Egypt (time of cleopatra) and Chicago(the 30's) The game looks funny, also in a window you got great graphics, but when you switch to full screen it isn't smooth anymore.

The Bad
This game remind me of Jazz the Jackrabbit, it is almost the same. But with Jack you can choose your weapons, not in this game. The fact that the full screenmode isn't beautiful and so you must play in a window. And that window is very small, that you can't play this game for long. Otherwise you get pain in your eyes.

The Bottom Line
Afterall I liked this game In the first place it has the funniest cat alive. And second the game has a good variety in the levels. When you like cats, you must play this one. And if you don't like them, still play it.
