Description official descriptions

Heavy on the action, Ikari Warriors became a favorite both in the arcades and on home consoles. To fuel that frenzy, SNK and Tradewest teamed up again for a sequel, Victory Road, released later that same year.

This time, the Ikari Warriors take on more cosmic foes, battling rock-headed beasts, one-eyed green men and other odd creatures.

Great WWII Style 2D Soldier and Tank Shoot 'em up!!!

The Good
Based on a coin op' game that came out in the Arcades. You play as a soldier shooting lots of enemy soldiers. Two joysticks: (1) moves character (2) turns gun to eight different compass directions. You can find old tanks and capture them (get in). You fight much better this way. But beware the tanks fuel doesn't last long, and when it runs out you've got to get out fast before it blows up! Also bridges, water, walls, and minefields. Lots of end of stage 'bosses' like big tanks or helicopter gunships. I never got to the end of this game in the Arcade generally sending only 10p a game. But could in the Amiga Version. I even nicknamed one bit of the game 'Ambush Alley'.

The Bad
Two player mode seems to have each player getting in the way of the other or hit by mines because the other is in the 'safe' zone. You actually play worse with two players than one!!!

The Bottom Line
Great Music. Top Shoot 'em up Game. Really gets the adrenaline going.
