You can then race your beast against other lego built characters in 12 special themed tracks, based on the Themed Lego kits (including Pirates & Egypt and much more). Race your friend in split screen mode, or go straight on for the ultimate Lego racing trophy.

Stupid, but fun!

The Good
The multiplayer mode is fun, The powerups are creative, and the graphics are pretty impressive ( considering it was made by a toy company). It's not as idiotic as it looks. Building mode is pretty good. There is a pretty wide variety of pieces you can put on your car.

The Bad
The game tends to lock up sometimes. Also, once you've played it a lot in single player mode, it gets really easy. The expressions your character can have are really pretty stupid looking.

The Bottom Line
The game is fun, especially in multiplayer. It has some really stupid elements, but I just ignore those. The game gets easy, but it's just fun to drive around the level and find new stuff.

A cool racing game

The Good
It's very creative that you can build your own driver, make your own license and build your own car and then drive it. The levels are extremely well done and the weapon ideas are very creative. The music is all right and the controls are the same as Mario Kart, so if you've played that this game'll be easy to get into.

The Bad
The big thing is without a memory pak you can't save your progress, which sucks. Also, circuits 4-6 are just circuits 1-3 backward's. It would have been better if new levels had been created for all the circuits. And for 1998 the graphics could have been better.

The Bottom Line
Get it if you have a memory pak but if you don't then forget about it.
