Description official descriptions

Take up the tough job of a farmer in this most recent addition to the Harvest Moon franchise. Work through a long day of watering and planting crops, tending to animals, and getting to know the villagers. Unlike past games in the series, this one works on a chapter basis as you progress through the seasons.

Various goals include marrying one of the village women(or men in the upcoming for girls edition) and having children to help you with your work as you get older. The gameplay and the abstract goals are similar to the GameCube game Animal Crossing.

Harvest Moon: Live your life, try again.

The Good
This game is what you would expect it to be. You are a farmer get married, raise animals, grow crops, and of course, have a kid. Sounds like all the other harvest moon games right? Well I guess it does but there are differences. Your kid actually grows up and gets a job. You can influence what he is going to become.

The Bad
I don't like that it eventually just ends. That's it. Game over. Then you have to start again. Of course next time you can marry a different girl and influence your kid differently. But some people get annoyed because they "worked" hard to get that far, and now they have to start over again.

The Bottom Line
This is a fun role-playing game. You can get all sorts of weird stuff from people in town, so you don't have to buy something else. It is actually different from the other Harvest Moon games. This game is not for everyone. Hey, not every one likes that sort of thing. If you have anything to say about this, just e-mail me.
