Company OverviewGuerrilla Games was founded and established in 2000 which was formed as a result of a joint collaboration and venture and merger amongst 3 different small game development studios and has employed about over more than 150 game developers from over 20 different nationalities and is located and based in a 17th century canal mansion in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

When the company was officially and originally launched, it was at first known as the Lost Boys games until when the company was re-launched as Guerrilla in July of 2003 and it then became a part of the Media Republic group.

Following after the successful completion and release of Kill Zone on the PlayStation 2, Guerrilla was then bought out and acquired by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2005, and when in which at this particular point on in time, Guerrilla then went on to work on developing the award-winning Kill Zone: Liberation, which was released on the PlayStation Portable in 2006, as well as developed Kill Zone 2, which was released on the PlayStation 3 to much worldwide popular praise and critical acclaim.

The company is also part of the SCE Worldwide Studios group. As of in 2011, the company is still being currently operated and managed by both of its original co-founders Herman Hulst and Arjan Brussee.
