What a memory; I was mesmerized. I was very young. Later, my dad bought us an Atari 2600 one weekend because it was raining at Disneyland and we had to cancel our trip. I'll never forget those frenzied rounds of Combat against my older brother. Then of of course there was Pitfall - a grueling game that no mere mortal could possibly beat. When I was a little older I managed to save up my money for the then greatest game console ever created, the original Nintendo Entertainment System. From then on the rest is history. Since those golden days of Super Mario Bros. and Legend of Zelda I've grown into an avid gamer with a penchant for RPGs, Strategy and Adventures. Even with my newer computer I still enjoy playing older titles just as much as the new stuff. I keep an eye out for decent indie games as well. | |
