Steven Hoffman is one of the founding members of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Interactive Media Group and serves on the Board of Governors for the Producers Guild New Media Council. He was the CEO & Chairman of Spiderdance, one of the leading convergence/interactive television companies, which produced games and interactive TV shows for NBC, MTV, TBS, Game Show Network, History Channel, The WB and others. Hoffman also founded LavaMind, which produced the simulation games: Gazillionaire, Zapitalism and Profitania. Prior to that he worked at Sega developing games and theme park rides. Before that Hoffman managed the Hollywood television development group at Fries Entertainment. Hoffman has consulted for such companies as Intel, Kodak, Disney, MetLife and Ad Age. Hoffman holds a BS in Electrical Computer Engineering from the University of California and a Masters in Film and Television from the University of Southern California.
