About myself:I started playing console games as a child with the Atari 2600 and it went from there. I was formerly a Quality Assurance tester for Squaresoft (now Square Enix) on and off for several years during and after college. There I tested many of their PlayStation titles, two PlayStation 2 releases and staffed two E3 Expos (Atlanta, Georgia and Los Angeles, California). Please take a look at my developer profile for more information.

I spent a year in southern Japan (2002-2003) by way of the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program where I co-taught junior high students. I have two years experience in university Japanese study, passed JLPT Level 3 and wish to return to Japan someday to continue. Pictures of my travels and time there are available at my Japan photolog: Statement of Agreement.

I returned to the United States in August 2003 and resumed Quality Assurance testing that October at Rockstar San Diego. After Midnight Club 3 shipped, I took a vacation from the industry. I later returned to work at Crave Entertainment and Konami Digital Entertainment from 2006 through 2011. I moved into video editing, color and finishing at Red 5 Studios through 2013. I am currently a contract video editor for Riot Games.

If you worked on a game, you deserve credit. I tend to do credit submissions for MobyGames more so than other submissions. Although there is no compensation for the time spent contributing, I believe in this project and continue to add information when I can.

My hobbies include jogging, video editing and eBay.

Thanks for reading.

James P. Wong (2400) is also listed as a game developer.
