I am Marcus Pregent and have been in the game industry since 1995 where I worked at Disney as a contract tester. From there went on to work at Knowledge Adventure Software as a Technical Support person. After leaving there I worked at NovaLogic as a tester on Comanche 2 vs Werewolf for the Mac and Comanche 3 for the PC. In 1997 I joined New World Computing (under The 3DO Company) as a tester and Level Designer for Might and Magic 6. Went on to work on Heroes of Might and Magic 3, as well as the two expansions for Heroes 3, Armageddon's Blade and Shadow of Death. I then transitioned back to 3D work on Legends of Might and Magic (one of the levels I did being used in Might and Magic 9).
After being laid off in 3DO's first major "bloodbath" I went to work at Netamin on Ultimate Baseball Online, which ended in creative differences. I then moved onto Microsoft as a contract designer on Crimson Skies: The High Road to Revenge (XBox). From there I went to work at Sony on the Syphon Filter franchise for the PS2, shipping Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain. After 2 years there, I left to join the THQ-owned studio Volition in Champaign, IL. There I began working on titles that were intended for Xbox360 and PS3.
