|About myself:||I'm 18, and I live on the Rock of Gibraltar, in Europe. I was born here, and therefore I am a Gibraltarian, with British nationality. I have also lived in San Roque (Spain), Sheffield (England) and Buckfastleigh (England).|
My alias is Skye, which is a name taken from the wise, but arrogant, hawk belonging to the protagonist of Grandia II (on Dreamcast, PlayStation 2 & PC).
I'm shy around strangers, and incredibly zany around those that I know. I'm an introverted schizoid. I don't drink, smoke nor do drugs (except caffeine).
I'm quite the film buff, and I'm hoping to be in Stirling University this time next year studying English Studies combined with Film & Media Studies. I also wish to pursue a career in media journalism (either game or film related). I'm currently taking English Literature, Computing and Sociology at A2 level. My favourite TV channel is FilmFour.
I love every aspect of videogames. I collect them, and I've built up a collection of almost 400. Despite the fact that I don't often have the time to complete every game in my ever-growing collection, I enjoy the aspect of merely owning the game. My favourite game would probably be the original Grandia on the PlayStation, for its innovative battle system, engrossing storylilne and the kinkiness of Feena.
I regularly purchase four monthly videogame magazines - NGC, PSM2, OPS2 and EDGE. My favourite is EDGE, for its blunt, but honest, reviews.
My favourite music bands would be (in no particular order). 'Feeder', 'Placebo', 'A New Found Glory', 'The Offspring', 'blink-182', 'Zebrahead', 'Red Hot Chili Peppers', 'Quarashi', 'Incubus' and 'Daft Punk', although I will listen to any sort of music without prejudice.
My favourite movies are a little to hard to name, as I've seen and enjoyed so many. However, I would recommend 'Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail' as an insight into my idea of humour. My favourite animés would be 'Neon Genesis Evangelion', 'Haibane Renmei', 'Chobits', 'Noir' and 'Love Hina'. My favourite mangas would be 'Love Hina', 'Neon Genesis Evangelion', 'Chobits' and 'MegaTokyo'.
My favourite colour is electric blue, followed by neon blue.
