About myself:Hey there!

I'm a 24 year old musician/programmer/computer freak from Sweden. My interrest in computers started when I was 5-6 years or so, the year must have been 1987 I think.

My earliest memory (for what I can remember!) of a computer game is Pitstop II on the C64, which my brother showed to me one day. I can't remember if I won or lost, but I do remember we used to race against each other from time to time.

I eventually learned how to operate my brother's C64 on my own (read: load games :)), and I remember game titles such as Monty on the Run, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Short Circuit, and... well, the rest of the list has unfortunately become blurry over the years that have passed since then!

Some time later, my brother bought an Amiga 500, and this is where everything started to get interresting. My earliest memory is the game Ninja Mission, which we copied one night from our neighbour, who also had an Amiga. In 1992 this Amiga was mine (all mine!) as my brother had lost interrest, and I was heavily into the Amiga world of games, demos and programs up until 1996 when I sold it to buy a PC.

Alas, this is where the fun story ends and where I become the boring average computer user. I still own 4x Amiga machines, a Playstation, Sega Mega CD, Dreamcast and 3x Gameboys, but they are either collecting dust in a bookshelf or have been put away in the basement. I have a pretty good PC which I occasionally play some games on, but my heart still lies in the old-school 2D-based Amiga and early PC/DOS-games. And that is also what I hope to be able to contribute with here at MobyGames!

I have also recently programmed my own 2D retro-styled platform/action-game called ACTION CYBORG, which can be downloaded for free at http://www.terrorpunksyndicate.org/actioncyborg/

Thank you for reading!
