| About myself: | I've been playing games since about the age of 3 or 4 years old. My family was given an Atari (likely a VCS) model from some friends of the family and while this is where it started, my first real memories are playing on the NES. I've been a gamer ever since and while there were times I thought I'd give it up, I doubt that day will ever come. In fact I plan to enter the journalism field in the hopes of writing for a well-known website. Gaming has done a lot for me and I'd like to leave my mark on the industry in whatever way I can in order to make it more acceptable in our society.
I'm now at a point in my life where gaming has saturated my need for a hobby and so many facets of my life revolve around the gaming world. I'm either reading up on news, listening to some VGM (which probably takes up something like 40% of my music time), or just playing a game. To some this may sound a little "pathetic" but it gives me great pride to know that I've been more immersed in my hobby than few people in the world will ever be. | |
