All Time Favorite

• Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn -- I'd love this game even if (or is that especially if?) it only consisted of Chapter 2.
• Beyond Good & Evil -- This game is amazing! Why did almost no one play it?
• EarthBound -- My favorite console RPG of all time. A true (cult) classic.
• Fallout -- The best role-playing game ever made. Period.
• Fallout 2 -- The sequel to the best role-playing game ever made. Period.
• Final Fantasy III -- Another classic Super NES RPG.
• Final Fantasy Tactics -- Solid tactical gameplay, and a great script crippled by shoddy translation.
• Final Fantasy XII -- Ivalice rocks, as does the best Final Fantasy game yet.
• ICO -- Hauntingly ethereal, this game is a powerful fairy tale.
• Mega Man 2 -- Mega Man was great before the series contracted sequelitis...
• Mega Man 9 -- This is the prime example of how to revive a classic franchise... tried and true gameplay mixed with fresh elements.
• Ninja Gaiden Trilogy -- Classic side-scrolling action. The NES versions are the way to go, but I love the whole trilogy.
• Planescape: Torment -- The most gripping narrative and characters of any game I've ever played.
• Portal -- The cake is a lie!
• Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time -- Camera issues aside, this is an amazing and exciting adventure.
• Psychonauts -- An utterly hilarious and quirky gem that was sadly overlooked.
• The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition -- Hilarious and well done update of the SCUMM adventure classic.
• Shadow of the Colossus -- A stylistic masterpiece, though not without its minor annoyances.
• Sly 2: Band of Thieves -- A very well-constructed and solid platformer with a unique Saturday morning cartoon feel.
• Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic -- The best Star Wars experience I've ever had -- in any medium.
• Super Mario Bros. 3 -- Perhaps the best videogame ever made.
• Xenogears -- I still like it in spite of its numerous glaring flaws.
• Xenosaga: Episode I - Der Wille zur Macht -- Such a promising beginning that sadly went unfulfilled in Episodes II and III.
